It's all about how the coffee is processed and the sun dried processing method which is reserved for "cheaper" coffee beans actually produces a very high quality taste.  The reason is because when the bean sun dries, this ensures the migration of the sugar from the skin into the actual cherry seed (the bean).  This results in a very deep chocolate taste in the bean.

Some of that high quality espresso blends that you buy are actually just "cheap" sun dried processed coffee beans.

Essenza C 100 is a very good machine.  It's almost as if it's on auto-pilot where you don't need to be an experienced barrista to make great espresso every time.  If you're not going to invest in a 2000 dollar machine, then I would get this one.
